Your Impact
Supports strategic financial decision-making through accurate accounting, cost control, and compliance with US-GAAP, IFRS, and fiscal regulations, while driving continuous improvement across fixed assets, project execution, and quality assurance.
Support cost reporting and execute workshop revaluations and SOX controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
As part of our team you will
In this role, the individual will:
Perform accounting tasks to ensure accurate cost allocation, accruals, and project accounting. capital and closure costs
Review costs with team members against the budget and forecast
Provide support in financial reporting and analysis, including costs, capital, and projects
Prepare and provide financial information for auditors and assist with local financial
statements in compliance with IFRS and SUNAT
Administer SOX Controls related to the above
Prerequisites for your success in this role
Demonstrate skills in accounting close activities, financial reporting, US GAAP/IFRS/local GAAP, and audit compliance.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and internal control system design and operation.
Mining or other extractive industry experience is preferred.
Competent proficiency in accounting activities, financial reporting, US GAAP/IFRS/local GAAP, and audit compliance.
Advanced proficiency with accounting software. Experience with SAP and BPC is preferred.
Competent verbal and written communication skills- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
Competent ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Advanced English (spoken and written) preferred.
Where you will be located!
This position can be based in Lima or Cajamarca.
The incumbent may be required to travel and assist other sites nationally and internationally.
